Sweet & Sour Pork



Sweet and Sour Pork


One of my fav dish. Learnt this dish from my MIL while im staying in Brunei for a yr 7 yrs ago.


Ingredients:-


300g boneless back ribs


Corn flour


1 egg


Marinate:-


3 tbsp sesame oil


1 tbsp light soy sauce


1 tbsp hua tiao wine


1 tbsp sugar


a dash of pepper


Sauce:-


Tomato Sauce (enough to cover the pork)


5 tbsp sugar


1 tbsp plum sauce


Method:-


1) Cut the pork into bite size. Marinate overnight or at least 2hrs.


2) Deep the pork into the egg and coat it with corn flour.


3) Deep fry till is golden brown, dish out, set aside.


4) Use a new wok, add in sauce to the fried pork and stir fry at high heat for 1-2mins until evenly coated.
