Portuguese Egg Tarts

Portuguese Egg Tarts

Ingredients for crust:-

1 packet of puff pastry. (I used Betty Crocker Pie Cust) Makes very nice flaky crust!

Ingredients for Custard Fillings:-

200g whipping cream

300g milk

80g sugar

3 eggs

3 egg yolks

1/4 tsp vanilla essence

Method:-

1) Cook wipping cream and milk at 70degree. Stir in sugar and cook till dissolve.

2) Add in beaten eggs and egg yolks. Mix well until blend. Add in vanilla essence. Set aside to cool.

3) Roll out the pastry and divided into small dough and press onto moulds.

4) Pour fillings into the pastry and bake at 220degree to 20-25mins.
