Chocolate Pandan Chiffon Cake












Had taken the receipe from Prima Flour website. Thanks to Jennifer. :)



Ingredients:-


100g Prima Top Flour.

( I dun hv it so ive replaced it with 50g cake flour and 50g plain flour)


1 tsp baking powder


1 tbsp pandan paste


100ml coconut milk


4 eggs yolks


5 eggs whites


50ml corn oil


1/4 tsp green colouring


1/4 tsp cream of tartar


100g castor sugar


pinch of salt


** Small chocolates chips, Optional**



Method:-


1) Preheat oven to 170 degree.


2) Mix pandan paste with coconut milk.


3) Add egg yolk, 50g of the sugar, oil, colouring and salt to the coconut milk mixture. Mix well using hand whisk.


4) Shift in flour and baking powder and fold into mixture. Mix till smooth and set aside.


5) Beat egg whites and tartar at high speed until formy. Add in remaining sugar and beat till stiff.


6) Add 1/3 of the beaten egg white to the yolk mixture and mix using hand whisk.


7) Slowly fold in this mixture to the remaining 2/3 of the beaten egg whites.


8) Pour mixture into an ungreased tin and bake for abt 50mins.


**Note: Ive sprinkles some tiny chocolate chips on top of the mixture, so as to be Chocolate Pandan Chiffon Cake. :P**


9) Turn tin immediately over a cake rack to cool before loosening the cake.
